Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector for a position in Northwest Houston!
Day Shift
Direct Hire
Pay-$18/hr.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet specified standards through rigorous inspection and testing procedures. The role requires strong technical skills and an ability to work effectively in a shop and yard environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy by cross-referencing Bill of Lading details against Purchase Orders to confirm correct product shipment and receipt.

Conduct hardness tests on materials as required, using Brinell hardness testing equipment to verify material properties.

Perform precise dimensional inspections per specifications and requirements to ensure products meet design and quality standards. Utilize precision measurement equipment, including OD and ID mics and tape measures.

Accurately document the acceptance or rejection of products based on inspection results. Maintain detailed records to support quality control processes and reporting.

Conduct thorough inspections of mills and back-to-back products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Perform other quality control-related tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the quality assurance process.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. (will require verification)

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality inspection role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement equipment including OD and ID mics, and tape measure, and hardness testing equipment.
- Experience operating forklifts and grinders

Must be able to spend 100% of the time in the shop and yard areas, working in various environmental conditions.

Competence in basic mathematical operations required for measurement and inspection tasks.
