Receptionist – Immediate Opening | South Fresno
Location: South Fresno, CA – Conveniently located off the highway
Pay: $20.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

We are hiring an experienced Receptionist for an immediate opening in South Fresno. The client would like to review resumes today and begin conducting interviews as early as Wednesday this week, with the goal of having the selected candidate start by Monday, August 3.

Job Summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees and is responsible for providing professional and courteous front desk support. This position manages incoming calls, greets guests, assists with scheduling and administrative tasks, and helps keep daily front office operations running smoothly.
Essential Job Functions

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff professionally

  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls

  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and meetings

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries

  • Maintain visitor logs and follow security procedures

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and files

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support

  • Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in person

  • Coordinate with internal departments to support office operations

  • Operate standard office equipment, including copiers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Basic computer and data entry skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Bilingual Spanish required
