Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Madera CA

Hire Up Staffing is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. This is a part-time position for an 11-month term, working 6.5 hours per day over 184 workdays annually.
Compensation:
Starting at $19.00 per hour, with higher rates offered based on experience (DOE).
Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the assigned administrator, the Registered Behavior Technician will implement behavior management strategies in both general and special education classroom settings. The role involves supporting students with emotional disturbances, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and/or severe intellectual disabilities who may exhibit maladaptive behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans and behavior management techniques
Utilize de-escalation strategies and manage environmental triggers
Provide direct support to students to promote positive behavioral outcomes
Assist in teaching and reinforcing replacement behaviors
Collaborate with classroom staff to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with individuals with diverse behavioral needs
Licenses & Certifications:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Ability to maintain RBT certification in accordance with BACB requirements
CPR and First Aid certification
Valid California Class C driver’s license with an insurable driving record
Additional Requirements
Willingness to complete training in crisis intervention, behavioral case management, and other required professional development
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
