Job Description
Senior Estimator – General Construction
Remote | Full-Time | $90,000–$130,000 Annually
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the estimation process for general construction projects nationwide. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to projects that range from 20,000 to over 1 million square feet.
What You’ll Do

Lead bid processes, secure subcontractor bids, and optimize vendor selection for profitability.

Analyze plans, specifications, and materials, providing accurate and competitive cost estimates.

Develop proposals that account for scheduling, risk, and value engineering opportunities.

Oversee document control and ensure seamless coordination throughout the estimation process.

Manage RFIs to resolve discrepancies and maintain clarity for clients.

Leverage data from completed projects to refine cost accuracy and drive improvements.

Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Conduct market research on labor, materials, and pricing to optimize decision-making.

7+ years of experience in general construction estimating or a combination of project management and estimating.

Strong background in self-performing work and production estimates.

Knowledge of design-build and general construction methods, with familiarity in CSI format.

Advanced organizational and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.

Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite (including Project), AutoCAD, and estimating software.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Competitive salary: $90,000–$130,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
