Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all activities related to the maintenance, repair, and testing of pump systems.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all pump maintenance and repair work meets the highest standards of excellence.
- Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Interact with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
- Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development within the team, and coordinate training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintain accurate records of all pump maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, inspections, and testing results. Prepare regular reports for management review.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in pump maintenance and repair, with at least [5] years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of various types of pumps and pumping systems.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the field.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
