Specialty Scheduling Assistant
Job Description
Hire Up Staffing Services is currently looking for a Scheduling Assistant for a client in Visalia, CA area. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Pay is $18 - $20 DOE.
Position Summary:
- Responsible for organizing and managing Specialty schedules and appointments.
- $18-$20 DOE
Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Minimum of six months of related experience.
- Bilingual - Preferred
- Experience in Medical/Insurance
Performance Expectations:
- Assist with ICS Home Health and ICS clinic scheduling which will include call/texting to confirm appointments and delivery dates.
- Assist with answering Specialty/IVIG delivery and scheduling calls/text for ICS Home Health and ICS clinic patients.
- Assist with insurance and co-insurance verification. Calling patient to inform them of their deductible and out of pocket responsibility.
- Assist the Specialty Intake Coordinator with PAP and FHP applications and obtain any necessary documents needed to complete the applications.
- Provides clerical support for the Specialty team as needed.
- Will work under direct supervision of the Clinical Pharmacists and Specialty Team Leaders.
