POSITION: SR. RESEARCH ANALYST
LOCATION: HYBRID/REMOTE (SAN FRANCISCO, CA)
SHIFT: M-F, 10A – 6P (PST)
SALARY: $135K - $145K DOE
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Research & Competitive Intelligence Director, the Sr. Research Analyst performs legal and business research to support the firm and its clients. The Sr. Research Analyst collaborates with a team of professionals based in D.C., San Francisco, and New York, focusing on Knowledge & Innovation (K&I) initiatives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):

Performs comprehensive research using specialized databases, legal/business sources, web-based sites, and print resources.

Markets and promotes Research and K&I service offerings.

Develops educational materials and leads instructional programs for firm personnel.

Evaluates new research applications, ensuring knowledge assets meet business needs.

Handles resource optimization and management projects, resolving access issues.

Works on special projects and performs assigned duties.

Accounts for billable time by submitting diaries regularly.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
-
M.L.S. from an accredited institution preferred.

Minimum of seven years' research experience in a large law firm.

Upper-margin research skills with detailed knowledge of corporate research databases.

Demonstrated excellent research skills, meticulous attention to detail, and creative problem-solving.

Excellent written, verbal communication, and customer service skills.

Flexibility to assume other job responsibilities within the department.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:

Remote or hybrid position ideally based on the West Coast, Mon. thru Fri. from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (PST).

Ability to travel to firm offices as needed.
