Job Description
Salary: starting at $150k base annually plus performance-based commission
Location: East or West Coast (100% remote; frequent travel required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Manage and optimize communication strategies within your territory.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to maintain company's competitive edge.
- Build and nurture relationships with key prospects and clients. Provide detailed sales reports and updates to the leadership team.
- Oversee all aspects of the sales process from proposal to closure.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism to uphold the company's reputation.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in PBM or the Health Industry.
- Master’s degree in a business-related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years in PBM sales with a proven track record of meeting quotas and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of payer/insurance models and the pharmacy supply chain.
- Experience with Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft programs.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of PBM products and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated success in contract negotiation and relationship management.
- Over 50% travel, including participation in trade shows.
- Occasional trips to HQ in Puerto Rico for training and quarterly meetings.
