Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious part-time Warehouse Associate to join a busy industrial operation. This part-time position will be responsible for loading trucks according to work orders and schedules, verifying load accuracy, monitoring loading operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, comfortable working overnight hours and outdoors, and able to perform physical tasks in an industrial environment.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 11:00 PM–5:00 AM
- Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
- Position: Part-Time
- Interview: Required
Dress Code & PPE
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Pants or shorts must have belt loops
- Must wear appropriate clothing for an outdoor/industrial work environment
Responsibilities
- Load trucks with materials according to work orders and scheduled loads.
- Verify load accuracy, product type, and weight specifications before dispatch.
- Operate loadout equipment such as conveyors, loaders, pumps, or automated systems as required.
- Monitor loading processes to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and supervisors regarding load status or any issues.
- Inspect trucks and loading areas to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Complete required documentation, including load tickets, bills of lading, and inventory records.
- Follow company safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and applicable DOT regulations.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe loading areas.
- Assist with general loadout and warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, loadout, shipping, or industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 10–40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor or industrial environment.
- Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Must have reliable attendance and be dependable.
