Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join a busy warehouse team. This position will support general warehouse operations, including material handling, order picking, and safely operating multiple types of warehouse equipment.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 5:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
- Interview: Required
Dress Code & PPE
- Shorts or pants must have belt loops
- No crop tops or tank tops
- Steel-toe shoes required
Responsibilities
- Pick products accurately according to orders and warehouse procedures.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas.
- Pack products securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Load products and materials safely for shipment.
- Wrap and secure pallets for storage or transportation.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks.
- Safely move and organize products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify products and quantities for accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous order picking, packing, staging, loading, or shipping experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Experience operating a cherry picker or reach truck is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have reliable attendance and be dependable.
- Must be safety-conscious and follow warehouse procedures.
