Warehouse Clerk
Job Description
$20/hr
2nd Shift 12p-9p
This role blends administrative and warehouse responsibilities—ideal for someone who can pivot between office tasks and physical activity with ease. The workstation is located within the warehouse, so comfort working in an industrial setting is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate order routing, communicate with sales representatives, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Process and reconcile delivery tickets, invoices, purchase orders, and branch manifests.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with order entry using company systems.
- Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, scheduling, and responding to internal and external inquiries.
- Monitor office and warehouse supply levels; reorder materials as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and carriers to confirm deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when workflow allows, including occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Contribute to process improvements that support operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of related administrative or warehouse experience preferred.
- Proficient in basic computer functions; experience with ERP systems (Solar Eclipse preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Professional and approachable demeanor with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable in a warehouse setting and capable of performing light physical labor as needed.
