Scale House Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish)
Southern Fresno Area

Pay: $18.00 per Hour + Overtime

Schedule:
Monday – Saturday
6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Frequent Overtime Required

Business Casual Attire (Jeans Permitted)

Position Overview

A busy agricultural operation in the Southern Fresno area is seeking a bilingual Scale House Coordinator to join their team. This is primarily an office-based position that serves as the communication and administrative center for daily shipping, receiving, transportation, and inventory activities.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at a computer for most of the day, handling a high volume of data entry, processing paperwork, coordinating with drivers and customers, and maintaining accurate records. This role is best suited for someone with strong office and administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are critical.

Attendance Expectations

This position requires a strong attendance record and commitment to the schedule listed above. The client is not flexible with schedule changes and expects employees to report to work consistently. Employees who demonstrate excessive absenteeism may not be retained.

Key Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing truck transactions using company software systems

• Accurately enter, verify, and maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and customer data

• Verify customer information, release numbers, purchase orders, and product details

• Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation

• Coordinate truck traffic, load status, and daily transportation activities

• Monitor loading and unloading times and maintain operational records

• Coordinate railcar releases, orders, and related paperwork

• Research and resolve discrepancies involving orders, releases, inventory, and customer information

• Communicate professionally with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal departments

• Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required

• Minimum 3-5 years of office, administrative, logistics, transportation, dispatch, inventory control, customer service, or data entry experience

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry systems

• Accurate 10-key skills required

• Typing speed of 45+ WPM preferred

• Experience working with high-volume data entry and detailed documentation

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Professional communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment

• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance history

Highly Preferred

• Previous scale house experience

• Agriculture, feed, grain, trucking, transportation, or logistics industry experience

• Experience with inventory management, shipping, and receiving documentation

• Experience working with ERP, inventory, or transportation management software
