Job Description
Job Title: X-Ray Tech
Location: Fresno, CA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (must be willing to work on some weekends as needed)
- 40 Hours a week.
- Variable Shift Time
Pay:
- $35 -$42 DOE
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare, position, and instruct patients for imaging procedures
- Operate X-ray and related imaging equipment safely and accurately
- Apply radiation safety standards and ALARA principles at all times
- Verify patient identity and exam requisitions prior to procedures
- Review images for quality, accuracy, and diagnostic value
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure proper use of protective equipment for patients and staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging areas
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Follow HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and healthcare staff
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders
- Assist with patient mobility and positioning as needed
- Other Job duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Between New Grad - 4 Years of Experience .
- Must be willing to work some weekends as needed
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Must X-Ray Certification
