<strong>About the Role</strong>

<br>Weâre hiring a Business Development Manager for our Houston office. This is a <strong>100% in-office position</strong>, aside from limited time spent visiting clients or prospecting in the field.<br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Schedule:</strong> MondayâFriday, 8:00amâ5:00pm
&#9;<li><strong>In-Office Time:</strong> 80% (at least 3â4 full days per week)
&#9;<li><strong>Field Time:</strong> Up to 20% (approximately 4â8 hours per week)
</ul>

<strong>Role Breakdown</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>40% In-Office Prospecting:</strong> High-volume cold calling, email outreach, and pipeline development
&#9;<li><strong>20% Field Work:</strong> Visiting local businesses, meeting decision-makers, and generating new opportunities
&#9;<li><strong>20% Account Management:</strong> Managing and growing job orders for accounts you develop or inherit
&#9;<li><strong>20% Administrative:</strong> CRM updates, quoting, notes, and client communication
</ul>

<strong>What Youâll Do</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Prospect and develop new business within the Houston market
&#9;<li>Build and maintain strong client relationships
&#9;<li>Negotiate rates and service agreements
&#9;<li>Partner with recruiting teams to ensure successful placements
&#9;<li>Network through local events, HR groups, and business organizations
</ul>

<strong>Who You Are</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li>Youâre able to work <strong>in-office full-time in Houston</strong> with limited time in the field
&#9;<li>You enjoy a structured schedule and are comfortable with high-volume outbound calling
&#9;<li>Youâre confident, professional, and relationship-driven
&#9;<li>Youâre organized, self-motivated, and consistent in your follow-up
&#9;<li>You have <strong>at least 2 years of B2B sales experience</strong> in staffing or a related industry (payroll, HR services, etc.)
&#9;<li>Existing Houston market contacts are a strong plus
</ul>
